Bank repossessed homes need interior cleaning

Monster Cleaning, LLC has bank repossessed homes that need interior cleaning. They pay $100 per house per crew. If there are two people on a crew, each person will get $50 per house. At times the crew will be able to clean the house in 2-3 hours (cleaner house) and longer periods of time needed for the houses in bad shape. You need your own transportation to the houses which are Valley wide. Each crew (probably two people) can clean 2-3 houses per day. You are paid every two weeks.

GCC Academic Advising Center

Title of Position: Academic Advisor, temporary hourly rate, no benefits
Salary: $12-14.50/hour (depending on experience)
Length of Assignment: May 9, 2011 – September 2, 2011
Work Schedule:
Regular semester hours:
Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (with one hour lunch)
Fridays, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (with one hour lunch)

Summer hours:

Job Summary:
Advises students on GCC and MCCCD academic degree and certificate programs in person and remotely via phone and email.

Assists students in the development of an individual educational plan and selection of courses applicable to their educational goals. Conducts degree/certificate progress checks and graduation audits.

Provides information to students regarding admissions, class registration, transfer credit, President’s scholarship, GCC Honors program, placement testing, graduation requirements, Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC), Arizona transfer pathways and transfer resources.

Provides brief training to students on the GCC online class schedule and MCCCD My.maricopa.edu web site and exposes students to relevant web resources. Documents advisement notes in web-based system.


Minimum Qualifications:
Previous advising experience in a college/university setting OR related experience.
Completed at least 24 college credits.
Very good computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiar with SIS and Peoplesoft.

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Previous advising or teaching experience in a college/university setting
Knowledge of MCCCD degree programs and curriculum
Previous advising experience within MCCCD
