Market Research Participants

Delve conducts market research studies at their location in Tempe. Participants in the studies are compensated financially for their time. This is NOT a full time or part time job, but it is a great way to make extra money on occasion. No application or commitment is necessary. If you receive a call and qualify for a study, you only participate if you’re interested and available. In order to receive calls, join the database by going to the website at www.delve.com and clicking on the green box that says “Join Our Respondent Database.” That will take you to a new page. Click on “Consumer Sign Up.” Follow the prompts and fill out as much information as you can. All information is kept confidential and no SS# is required.

Delve always has studies going on (focus groups, taste tests, in-home product testing, etc) and have a particularly large study coming up this summer. We’re actively seeking to expand our database to prepare for that study.

Local Family oriented Sporting Goods store looking for the right mature adult female/Mom looking for extra income to fill a flexible part time retail sporting goods and outside seasonal swim sales position working with the public.


Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour hour with raise to $10.00 after 9 months.


Hours: 1 - 2 Saturday's per month plus average of 1 day per week during off swim season. 2 - 3 Saturday's per month plus 2 - 5 days per week during peak swim season. Peak swim season months are May, June & August.


Must be able to lift heavy boxes and work outside in the heat for swim events.

Temporary Accounting Assistant

POSITION: Temporary Accounting Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Coordinator Fiscal Services and works in the
area of College Business Office. Work contacts include administrators, faculty,
and staff. This position provides a variety of moderately difficult accounting
and administrative support services.

JOB DUTIES:
Solves fiscal problems and responds to inquiries regarding fiscal policies,
procedures, and activities; works as a liaison between college and district
accounts payable department to reconcile invoice discrepancies and problem
accounts; assists fiscal manager in conducting other fiscal assignments;
reviews documents for completeness, availability of funds, conformity to
regulations and policy; and performs related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and experience in: accounting analysis and reporting; basic financial
record keeping methods, practices, and terminology; online financial system;
basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access); standard office practices,
procedures, and equipment.
Ability to: operate calculator; make basic mathematical computations rapidly
and accurately; learn to use online financial systems and equipment used
in college business office; work independently while recognizing situations
that need the supervisor's attention; maintain orderly files and records;
and communicate effectively orally.

40 hours per week- Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm and Summer
hours would be 4-10 hour days Monday through Thursday.

$12.00 per hour (no benefits)

Starts April 2011 and should continue until July 15, 2011.

Temporary Office Coordinator II

Job Summary: Provides full administrative support in the College Business Office in support of institutional fundraising.

Duties are highly diverse, typically including establishment and maintenance of office systems and procedures, coordination

and/or delivering of administrative support services such as event coordination, database maintenance, and community relations.

Essential Functions: Performs administrative duties to include generating reports, copying, filing, ordering supplies, maintaining database, and other general office duties. Assist with creating events and executing event strategies. Schedules space and resources for internal and external events and activities. Coordinates rental of facilities, related contracts and payments; Prepares requisitions to purchase goods and services. Schedules facilities, coordinates all aspects of event staging, completing procurement tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment. Computer experience: Word, Excel, Access.

Customer Service experience with internal and external customers. Experience coordinating diverse and complex events and activities.

Special working conditions:

May require long periods of viewing a computer screen; May require working with continuous interruptions;

May require lifting boxes from 20-30 lbs; May require long periods of sitting or walking.

Start date: May 2, 2011 through June 30, 2011 (may be extended if needed)

Salary range: $12.00-$14.85

Hours will be Monday – Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm, during peak times 40 hours per week and evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
